Next up in our ‘Monthly Mock-Ups!’ series, we’re re-imagining an amazing solo album from Per, but this time as a Roxette album. A big ‘what if…’ moment, and spooky as only last week Per posted from a 1996 notebook introducing us all to Roxette’s “Up!” that alas, never came to be…

Kicking-off our brand new series ‘Monthly Mock-Ups!’ we have our very first edition, starting with a live album, because some gigs just simply refuse to fade quietly into history.

If you’ve been following us over the past few months (+ April Fools 2025), you may have noticed a handful of familiar looking album covers that were not actually, well, ‘real’. They’re mock-ups. And from February, they’re becoming a regular thing. Imaginary Roxette releases, lovingly overthought!

Time for another timeless ballad, the mighty fine ‘Spending My Time’… (ooo that rhymes).

Hot on the heels of lead track ‘Joyride’ came another whopper of a single, ‘Fading Like A Flower’ with a gorgeous video too.

Did you know another title for album ‘Look Sharp!’ was ‘Paint’? It got us thinking, what if…

What would the album ‘TOURISM’ been like, had it not been themed around the ‘Tour Album’ concept, and instead, just been another ‘Studio’ Album?

Closing off the ‘Look Sharp!’ ‘singles’ era with perhaps one of the most overlooked songs in the Rox catalogue. The wonderfully understated ‘Half A Woman, Half A Shadow’.

Out of nowhere, Per shared a photo of an old 1996 notebook. In it, a draft idea for a Roxette album entitled ‘UP!’ and with it, the tracklisting…
