They may no longer be dressed for success, and it’s been a while since they’ve been on a joyride, but that’s not to say Roxette don’t have huge appeal – and so the arrival of a triple pack of their tunes to the Rocksmith library is certainly something to consider.
Got this tip from Dave A on Twitter. Podcast re the Joyride-song. Includes LOTS of weird info and mistakes (I thought everyone knew everything about Roxette!!!) but it’s kinda fun to listen to. To begin with they’re playing the album version of the song, not the US mix that became #1 in America. Check it out if you have the time! /P.

PS. “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” still sounds amazing. One of the last (maybe the last?) recording I did at the old ABBA studio in Stockholm.

If you haven’t bought Mono Mind’s “Mind Control” vinyl yet, now you can listen to those 2 songs that were released only on vinyl so far. MM made them available digitally too. ? This is what Per told about the 2 tracks in the RoxBlog interview with him: “„Shelter From The Storm” is amazing but very long so I kept it away from the CD. „Have Another Go” felt similar in style to „Love Is Loud” so one had to go.” ? Jorå satte ……. nu händer det grejjer !! Efter 40 år så får vi äntligen blås på några låtar???. Petter Lindgård och Peter Zimny kom som ett skott från Malmö och förgyllde med den äran några av våra nya alster. Stor glädje i det Gyllene lägret. Och tacksamhet såklart, det är sen gammalt ?
Idag är det sista dagen före mix börjar och jag kan utan att ha en uns av Pinocchio-vibb säga att ni kommer att få höra Gyllene på lite nya sätt på denna plattan. Lite nyfikna nu va ???.
