Bewegende Rückkehr von Roxette! Eine starke Frau. Grossartige Songs. Ein bewegendes Konzert. Marie Fredriksson ist die Stimme von Roxette. Gemeinsam mit Per Gessle und ihrer Band zelebrierte Roxette ein Stück Pop-Geschichte auf der Piazza Grande. Zart, zerbrechlich, von der schweren Krankheit deutlich gezeichnet, aber mit unbändigem Willen singt sich Marie Fredriksson durch Hits wie „The Look“, „Joyride“ oder „Listen To Your Heart“. Bei den Balladen des schwedischen Duos wurde so manche Träne verdrückt. Keinen der vielen Tausend Zuschauer in Locarno liess dieser Auftritt kalt. Ein emotionales Konzerterlebnis, wie es auch auf der Piazza Grande nicht alle Tage stattfindet. Danke Roxette, danke vor allem Marie für einen unvergesslichen Auftritt voller Strahlkraft, der die Herzen der Zuschauer tief berührt hat.

LOCARNO UPDATE: Allright!!! Could this be the most beautiful concert setting in the world? I dunno, but it sure makes your jaws drop when you're standing on that stage!!! Wonderful crowd and a most asskickin' band this hot Friday night. Thanx everyone for showing up, I dunno how many you were, looked like at least 10.000. Some sleep now, after some really stupid Pelle jokes, then it's Zurich-time! See y'all tomorrow, folks!! Cheers, P.
