★ Introducing Monthly Mock-Ups! ★

If you’ve been following us over the past few months (+ April Fools 2025), you may have noticed a handful of familiar looking album covers that were not actually, well, ‘real’. They’re mock-ups. And from February, they’re becoming a regular thing. Imaginary Roxette releases, lovingly overthought!

Disclaimer: This artwork is an unofficial fan-made mock-up created in good faith for editorial and creative discussion only – there could possibly be mistakes, no ones perfect. The mock-up does not represent an official Roxette release, past or present, and is not endorsed by Roxette, their Management, or Record Label. No physical or digital products exist and nothing shown here is for sale, ever. All images, names, and likenesses are used for illustrative purposes only and remain the property of their respective copyright holders. No copyright infringement is intended, and no commercial use is made or implied.
Here's a list of almost all our mock-ups so far. Enjoy! Thanks!

Monthly Mock-Ups!

Is our new monthly feature where we’ll be sharing imagined Roxette releases.

They’re not official albums, singles or videos, not unreleased material, not ‘leaked’ projects, and definitely not for sale.

They’re simply visual ‘what-ifs, created purely for fun and curiosity. The kind of releases fans have been talking about for ages.

Did you ever ponder? …

★  What if that Tour or gig had a live album?
★  What if the b-sides had been pulled together properly into a compilation?
★  What if that solo album had actually been a Roxette album?
★  What if ‘The Ballad Hits‘ had been kept as “Love Peas” (shudder)
★  What if an Anniversary Edition had gone just that little bit further?
★  What if album track ‘x’ had been released as a single instead of ‘y’ …?
★  What if we had a power pop album for driving?
★  What if we had an acoustic collection, not just MTV Unplugged?

Each month, on the 1st, we’ll share a brand new mock-up concept across The Daily Roxette website and our social channels…

Some will be inspired by real moments in Roxette history. Others will lean more into the ‘shoulda, woulda, coulda’ territory that we all know so well.

And this is very much a two-way thing.

Readers are invited to send in their Roxette and solo suggestions. That could be a specific live album, a compilation idea, an anniversary edition, a single that never was, or something completely unexpected. If it sparks curiosity and fits the spirit of Monthly Mock-Ups, it’s fair game and we’ll design it.

All feedback and ideas are welcome as always, and discussion is encouraged. The only caveat remains simple.
Comments need to stay polite, respectful, and in good taste. Anything that crosses that line will be removed.

These mock-ups are not about rewriting history. They’re about celebrating it, poking at the gaps, and enjoying the creativity that Roxette has always inspired.
It’s all just a bit of fun, and not to be taken too seriously.

★ The 1st edition lands February 1st

Let’s see where the imagination takes us…it’s almost unreal…
