This probably should have been a single, more so than any of the other non-singles?
Dare I say I prefer this one to ‘I’m Sorry‘. Not sure what it is about the song, it’s immediate, it’s rather eerie in a way? Per wrote another excellent ballad and Marie delivered vocally. It’s essentially why Roxette worked so well together.
It does make you wonder, who picked the singles? Who had the final say? Was it the Record Company or Roxette? It’s all very subjective too though, as it’s down to personal taste and preference, everyone would have picked something different and you just can’t please everyone can you.
‘Crash! Boom! Bang!’ the album, as a collective was, and remains, a masterpiece.

The CBB era single choices were pretty solid in the main. There’s only one we’d have potentially swapped out which would have been ‘Vulnerable‘, however, it remains up there in our favourite Roxette songs (as an album track, not a single).
As for ‘What’s She Like?‘, well it featured on a TDR Series back in 2015 entitled ‘Ghost Tracks‘. Give it a read. Fans were also pleased to hear it make its live debut during the Roxette Live! 2025 shows. So it has had it’s time in the spotlight.
