TT news agency in Sweden did an e-mail interview with #PerGessle about #Roxette! Per replied to their questions from Vienna. Roxette starts the Swedish tour leg this Saturday, 18th July in Kalmar! /PP You can find the article here: http://hallandsposten.se/nojekultur/musik/1.4146097-roxette-har-bara-borjat Short summary: Kalmar is the 54th gig and Per says it’s impossible to get tired. PG: ”We can easily do 50 more gigs. It feels bizarrely awesome and surreal fun. Adrenaline hits the ceiling each night. We are lucky to get to experience this. We pinch ourselves in the arm every now and then.” PG: ”Roxette has a huge loyal fan base. Many people travel around the world, tattoo the lyrics on their skin and basically live for the band.” He was asked about the 2015 remake of The Look and the upcoming album, which is now said to be released in autumn (*however, I’m not sure TT news agency was aware of the interviews where the release date was mentioned to be hopefully-before-Xmas* /PP). Per says they have worked together with some different and unexpected collaborators and producers. PG: ”Motivation is high, it feels like we have just begun.”

Oj milda makaroner vilken AMAZING GRACE kväll/ natt jag fick utav Tylösand, Halmstad publiken!!! Jag har knappt ord. Och trots den sena timmen så vill jag tacka och uppmärksamma alla som var med och firade livet och Sommaren 2015 här på Tylösand ikväll - jag blev helt blown away av den helt kraftfulla och förväntansfulla fantastiska slutsålda publiken som var med oss ikväll! Helt osvenskt och nästan lite nytt för mig... Blev faktiskt lite tagen på sängen = överraskad. Rörd, stolt och ödmjuk på samma gång! Som att 'skära i smör'. Lätt att flyga, sjunga, improvisera, bara vara, njuta, gråta, skratta, .. Tacksam. Efter konserten, signering och 1 timmes fantastisk massage så kallade 'kung Gessle' till samvaro med vänner i biblioteket.. Eh, ok klockan ett på natten då, i morgonrock? Jora så atte, and off we go! Åsa och Per med vänner + jag fick en skön topp på en fantastiskt lyckad konsert och kväll. Gillar ställen som redan har en inarbetad kultur av fest och glädje! Roxettes hyllade världsturné har Sverigepremiär i Kalmar på lördag!! //Team MF
Roxette har under sin världsturné hyllats av både fans och kritiker, nu senast efter en magisk konsert i slutsålda arenan The O2. På lördag når "XXX - The 30th Anniversary Tour” Kalmar som blir den första av totalt fem konserter i Sverige, därefter följer Halmstad, Göteborg, Stockholm och Rättvik.
Några recensioner från måndagens konsert på The O2 i London:
”Marie still hits the big notes that were Roxette's signature on numbers like 'It Must Have Been Love' and 'Listen to Your Heart'. The crowd, some holding aloft actual '80s-era lighters, as opposed to backlit mobiles, lapped up 'Spending My Time' and went mad for 'The Look' and 'Dressed for Success'.”

”Roxette landed on the O2 stage with a Crash! Boom! Bang! sending the crowd into a pop frenzy with their greatest hits from the last 30 years. I Sverige blir det fem stora konserter: 18 juli på Fredriksskans i Kalmar, 22 juli på Örjans Vall i Halmstad, 24 juli på Slottsskogsvallen i Göteborg, 25 juli på Sjöhistoriska i Stockholm och 27 juli på Dalhalla i Rättvik. Eskobar följer med som förband under större delen av turnén och i Halmstad kommer även Mariette vara med och öppna för Roxette.
