Nice interview with Jonas Åkerlund done by Hunger. Of course, #Roxette is mentioned as a very important part of his brilliant career. /PP Hunger: You started out as the drummer in a metal band, but your first videos were for the biggest Swedish pop band of the late-80s and early-90s, Roxette. How did that come about? Jonas: ... The only band back then [in Sweden] that had a global audience was Roxette. I was lucky because I did a documentary for Swedish TV with Marie [Fredriksson], the singer from the band, so I got to know them through that. They wanted to keep everything really Swedish, so they gave me a chance. Then I did videos for them back to back, which was amazing because that stuff was seen allover the world.
