Drammens Tidende did a short e-mail interview with #PerGessle about #Roxette before they perform at Elvefestivalen in Drammen on 22 August. Practice your Norwegian! Or read the short summary in English below. ;) /PP http://www.pressreader.com/norway/drammens-tidende/20150814/281844347366938/TextView Besides some words about history (Roxette and Gyllene Tider), Per is talking about songwriting and that one has to follow his gut feeling. He tells "I'm actually quite miserable to notice what works with the public. I'm bad at picking singles. That is done by others." In the interview Mr. G says if it wasn't music, he would probably work with something creative, achitecture or design. Regarding what he is most proud of during Roxette’s 30 years he says it’s that they survived. "It's a tough business that eats artists, musicians and songwriters for breakfast." He mentions that without Roxette's fantastic hit catalogue they could have never toured the world. To the question what the difference is between Roxette in 1990 and 2015 he replied: "Musically we are much better now. What we miss is the youthful curiosity that was later replaced by experience. And we can not stay in the bar as long as back then." [Well, this latter is not true for everybody in the band... ;) /PP]
