Remembrance book for Marie Fredriksson
Dear fellow friends, dear fans of Marie Fredriksson, dear Roxette fans, dear kind people in this world,
our friend Marie has passed away on December 9, and many, many people in the world are heartbroken and would like to express their feelings. Not everyone can do so on the social media, not everyone can do so by coming to Sweden and signing the official remembrance book laid out in Stockholm.
We want to collect your thoughts, your grieve, but also your finest memories with Marie here. Please write down what you always wanted to say to her, we will collect each single entry of yours, put them into one single book and send it over to Marie’s family to show them how much she made this world better through you.

[All entries made before January 1, 2020 were taken over for the book. You will still be able to add your messages now but we cannot consider them for the book to Marie’s family anymore as it has been printed by now.]
The Daily Roxette had one copy of the book printed early January 2020 and handed it over to Marie Dimberg, Roxette’s manager and a very good friend of Marie Fredriksson and her family, in Göteborg on January 20, 2020. The printed version of the book is nearly 800 pages thick and it has a white cover. Its title “Tack för allt Marie” (Thank you for everything Marie) is written in silver and red letters on its sleeve.
Here you see some quick photos of the book, sadly there has never been a chance to take proper photos of this one copy as it arrived just before the evening we headed to Göteborg for the “En kväll för Marie Fredriksson” show.

ya paso tiempo de tu partida... pero llevo tu vos desde pequeña en mi corazón... gracias a vos y a Per aprendí muchas cosas y le dio color a muchas cosas en mi vida... como por ejemplo hoy mi familia. En mal momento de mi vida donde sufrí mucho llegaron ustedes, vinieron a mi ciudad y en una noche que había esperado toda mi vida con un hermoso recital me regalaron todo, y allí conocí a quien hoy es mi pareja y mi familia, también fanático de ustedes, ambos veníamos de sufrir por amor y ser muy golpeados en la vida, nos conocimos ahí y años después nos volvimos a reencontrar siempre recordando que tu vos Marie y la música de Per fue lo que nos unió. gracias por todo. te extraño y nunca voy a olvidarte. Jeg husker kjempe godt at jeg fikk andre platen deres på kassett som het « Sharp! Look « av min far når hadde vært i « Sverige «. Men jeg spilte platen deres så masse at den gikk i stykker.
Min aller største minne var i året « 1994 « var far og jeg i « Oslo Spektrum « og så på « Roxette - Crash! Boom! Bang! Tour «, men jeg holdt på nesten å spørre dem om kunne få autografen deres, men jeg var ganske sjenert den gangen da.
P.S.: I dag er jeg ikke så sjenert lenger nå ..!!..

Han sido la banda sonora de mi vida desde "The Look" hasta April Clouds, nunca olvidare el legado y los bonitos momentos que me dejo Roxette., Marie nunca pude verte en vivo pero tu recuerdo seguirá vivo en mi, tu música no parara de sonar y tu sabes que es así. Mi reina de la lluvia, cuanto siento tu partida, todos los días son un día sin ti, creo que lo que siento por ti es casi irreal o debió haber sido amor, pero estas tan lejos, que me iré de turismo en un Joyride, aunque termine durmiendo en mi carro, solo para verte vestida para triunfar.

The new single "Let your heart dance with me" is brilliant. I realy miss her everytime I hear a Roxette song, even now, almost 10 months after her death . I used to attend Roxette concerts in Belgium and they made me forget the world. A lot of respect for Per that he wants to keep the memory of Marie alive. By the way, Per, you are an amazing songwriter.
The Pearl.... Chance' is ... The Look. Ich kenn sie alle :^) Roxette war schon immer mein Leben, und irgendwie sehr present , durch meinen dad, bei mir zu Hause seit dem ich klein war. Heute bin ich groß & Ihr seit es immer noch ...., immer ... Wenn mir die Welt zu viel wird . Lege ich einen Roxette Music Tag ein , und besinne mich auf meine Wurzeln . Wer ich bin und wie ich sein möchte .und wo ich noch hin mag und wie.... Für mich brach die restliche Welt , die ich noch hatte , auch noch zusammen und riss mir den Boden unter den Füßen weg.
( Nachdem ich meinen dad vor 7 Jahren verlor, der sein Leben lang von Anfang an Roxette hörte, der echt alle CDs von Euch hatte ).... Nachdem ich das mit Marie am frühen Morgen hörte . Ich war bei Euren Konzerten und freute mich wie ein kleines Kind als ich Marie das erste Mal live vor mir sah , mit ihrer Lederjacke . So cool.... Für die Mann alles tuhn würde ....

I am still so sad at your passing. You magical voice and music was ‘ is the soundtrack to my life. I went to every Roxette concert tour you had in Perth. I remember on the joyride tour, I handed you a bunch of roses and you took them from me with a huge smile on your face, it is something I will always cherish and remember fondly. Thank you for sharing your gift, your talent and your love to us all. I’ll be forever your fan and miss hearing new music from you. R.I.P Marie
