Another fab day rehearsing with a most interesting band. A little bit of Lynyrd Skynyrd, a little bit of Del Shannon + a healthy dose of T. Rex and Jean Luc Ponty= what can possibly go wrong? Have a wonderful weekend y’all! /P.
DAY TWO OF THE REHEARSALS UPDATE: It’s all going great, folks. Lots of fun! Wonderful players. Practicing serious heavy metal poses, drinking coffee, enjoying the fresh baked bread at the same time as avoiding Christoffer’s vegan boxes and no shoes policy. So much music to choose from, my God. How many songs do you need to write, mister Gee? Get a life! /P.
In this brand new #PerGessle interview about the summer tour, among other details, you’ll find out that fresh ginger, honey and hot water are always there on Mr. G’s list of requests on tour. He says these are important for the voice. He also says the best thing in touring is of course playing for the audience. And hanging out with the band and crew. He says all who are in the tour team are handpicked and wonderful people to work with. The sad thing in touring is all the travelling and all the waiting. Yikes. Is it July yet??? /PP

UPDATE ON LIVING: Day off today = found myself watching old Dick Cavett interviews on YouTube. Groucho Marx, George Harrison, Janis Joplin, Marlon Brando. Fantastic stuff, nothing has really changed. Tomorrow = big studio session. Love that. Wednesday = the proper rehearsals for the tour starts. New band, new songs, old guitars, old values that everything is supposed to become fab and great beyond belief. My aim is true. See you soon, folks! /P.
