Roxette brings back memories in Australia

Last night Roxette kicked off their 2nd part of the XXX 30th Anniversary Tour at Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Australia. The crowd were ecstatic and the magic night couldn't be described better than Natalie Bochenski did in Brisbane Times/The Sydney Morning Herald: ”The fact that Marie Fredriksson not only survived years of treatment but wanted to return to stage is a tribute to not only her rock god status but her human being status. … Her voice seemed to get stronger with every song, allowing her to deliver the biggest ballad of them all, Listen to Your Heart, with the force of a viking.””Each song brought back memories of the 90s - school discos, dancing, sleepovers, best friends, crushes, little broken hearts and defiant young minds. … Worshipping at the feet of the gods Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle, the girls of the 90s transformed the BEC into one big bedroom for everybody to dance around, with smartphones replacing hairbrush microphones.” Read the full article here. The 10th of May the European tour opens in Milan in the already sold out arena Teatro Arcimboldi. This tour will conclude during Roxette’s 30th anniversary (2016) and has therefore been named “XXX - The 30th Anniversary Tour”.
