A new CD full of cover versions of Swedish summer songs has just been released in Finland. The compilation is titled "Sommarhits vol. 1" and it produced by Finland's Swedish youth radio channel Radio Extrem. The CD is released to promote this summer's Popkalaset tour. You can order the CD on the pages (in Finland only).
The CD features cover versions of two old Gyllene Tider hits: "Sommartider" performed by Kari Peitsamo and "När vi två blir en" by Mascara (the links are to Finnish pages). I haven't heard the cover versions yet, but I'm sure they are done as a joke.
