New album will have the Roxette sound, says Per

Per Gessle is interviewed in Friday's Expressen. He says that the people will recognize the music of the new Roxette, even though the forthcoming album won't sound like ”Joyride” or ”Crash! Boom! Bang!”. The music will still be based on the melody. The recording sessions were in Spain in January-February, when the winter was the darkest in Sweden. ”It was all about comfort. It is so miserable at home that it was nice to be able to take your family and friends to there”, says Per and continues. ”We have done a great job in Spain.”
”Everybody says we're making a comeback. But what the hell, we've released albums all the time!” says Per in wonder. The new album is still expected to hit the stores in October.
