There are only EIGHT days until Roxette’s latest world tour, dubbed the 30th Anniversary Tour, kicks off at the 7,000 seat Fetisov Arena in Vladivostok, Russia.  Following on from the massive ‘Neverending Tour’, which ended in October 2012, it will be interesting to see how the world react to Roxette’s return.

Per and Marie have been busy over the last few days in rehersals but we will have to wait until the opening night to see what surprises will be on the setlist.  We all know that the big monster hits will be played, but which gems have been picked by the band? Which song will open the concerts off this time?  TDR covered this topic with a article published earlier this year.  You can view it here

Whilst only 22 concerts have been announced, so far, Per has stated many times that this tour will last into 2016.  It is looking highly likely that European dates will take place during summer 2015, hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer before some further dates are announced.  Of course fans in other parts of the world will be hoping for a concert (or ten!) where they live as well.

An important part of the concert experience is the pre-concert music.  Per’s ‘Mixed Tapes’ have proven very popular amongst fans over the last few tours.  TDR hope that Mr G is working on his list and will publish the chosen songs before the first concert.  Of course, we will pass on the information to you as soon as we have it!

It is looking very likely that Per will keep up with the now traditional tour videos that give fans a glimpse behind the scenes of the tour.  These little videos are always fun to watch and we don’t know of another band that shares so much information with fans!

Per and Marie have also been in the recording studio recently.  Per has not confirmed the outcome of the recordings:  New album, an EP or something else?  Time will tell.  This reporter would love a whole new album, of course!
