With Love to Marie
We all know that Marie doesn’t use the Internet, so fingers crossed this message somehow gets back to our beloved Marie.
Read the full story...The Internet was awash on Wednesday with well-wishes, positive comments and such a huge outpouring of love for Marie Fredriksson, following the unfortunate incident on stage during Roxette’s Kaunas gig the day before. Fans were, quite rightly, deeply concerned about Marie’s fall onstage and offered suggestions that could possibly help Marie on stage, to make touring as easy and as comfortable as possible.
We all know how strong and positive Marie is these days and the way that she just laughed after the fall on stage and carried on singing was magnificent and shows that she tries not to be too effected by the problems that she can sometimes suffer from.
It turns out that there wasn’t as much to worry about as first feared. Per Gessle posted the following message on the Roxette Official Facebook wall: “WEDNESDAY UPDATE: Two days off now. Don’t worry about Marie, folks. Since she can’t see that well on her right eye + her right leg is pretty weak = she stumbled on her mike stand (which is fixed to the floor) during Big L but came back with a smile on her face and new adventures awaiting in the wings. Helsinki next! /P.”
Per even followed this up later in the day by posting a compilation YouTube video of musicians falling on stage. It’s certainly fantastic news that Marie wasn’t hurt during her tumble.
We can’t think of any other musical act where the fans are so supportive and when things like this happen, the collective positive thinking is mind blowing. It feels like the whole RoxWorld pulls together and these vibes can reach the band and help Marie through any issues.
See you in Helsinki!
