Małgorzata from Warsaw asked us to spread the word about their initiative to celebrate the third live concert of Roxette in Poland and to express the fans love and appreciation for Marie with a little 'flash mob'. To join in, just take a red or white paper heart with you to the concert on the 22nd of June at the Torwar Hall and show it during the songs ‘The Heart Shaped Sea’ and ‘Listen to Your Heart’. According to the press release, Alphaville will be the opening act for Roxette at the Wasa Open Air festival in Vaasa, Finland (15 August). 8000 tickets are sold for the event already, and the organizers expect it to be sold out. Tickets: http://bit.ly/1FE8UFL

Tyska Alphaville kommer att vara förband på sensommarens konsert med Roxette på Karlsplan i Vasa. 8 000 biljetter har redan gått åt, och arrangörerna räknar med att det blir slutsålt.

Our guess regarding the 'secret mission' of Roxette yesterday at the X-Level Studios is that probably they were recording a special live session as part of the 'X-Level Live' series having the aim of producing a completely live studio recording without any post-recording fixings. The first - known - recording of the series was done by 'Legends of Rock', a supergroup of the four singers Bobby Kimball (Toto), Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow), Bill Champlin (Chicago) and Steve Augeri (Journey) backed by a Swedish band. They played in front of 50 people who had headphones for the best live sound experience. Their session will be released on CD and DVD with interviews and behind the scenes content. The cover of 'Kärleken till livet', Marie's biography book got revealed in the autumn catalog of Piratförlaget. It also features a photo of Marie together with the co-author and editor of the book Helena von Zweigbergk.
Both the hardcover, the e-book, and the audio book version will be released on 14 October. The printed book will have 330 pages; the audio book version will be narrated by the Helena von Zweigbergk.
