#PerGessle was interviewed by Värmlands Folkblad before his Arvika show tonite! In the interview Per says that both the rehearsals and the concerts so far were exciting and an unexpected journey. Especially Gyllene Tider’s songs are difficult for “professional musicians” to play. Several times during the rehearsals he had to stop and take a laugh break because everything sounded like a GT cover band on steroids. The GT sound is so tight and extremely complex in all its simplicity. Roxette songs were easier to get into. They are more sophisticated compositions and allow more sound colors. “Mazarin” songs are made for such a set of pedal steel and violin. /PP
