Roxette will tour North America

During last night’s episode of Nordic Rox on satellite radio network Sirius XM, Per Gessle was interviewed in London by co-host Sven Lindström. In the interview Per says that he expects to spend a large amount of time in the U.S. and Canada touring next year. Nothing is however finalized, Per added diplomatically. The Daily Roxette had a chat with Per after the Stockholm gig where he mentioned at least 10 gigs in Canada in September “if things go as planned.” “Our roadies and crew have families too, believe it or not, and they need to check with them!” said Per.

The last time Roxette set foot on American soil was in 2000 when they did a small promo tour for the Edel Records release Don’t Bore Us – Get to the Chorus!, where they, among other places, performed at the Virgin Records Megastore at Times Square in New York City and at the Frank Gehry-designed Experience Music Project in Seattle.

All in all, with Australia, Asia, South and North Americas, 2012 is looking like another great Rox-year.
