Roxette heads to South America with 10 concerts scheduled

Roxette is in the air again, en route this afternoon to Montevideo, Uruguay, the first stop on the South American leg of the Charm School tour.

The concert in Montevideo will take place at the Velodromo (an arena built for bicycle racing) on April 2nd. From there, Roxette will make the short trip to Buenos Aires for a two-night stand at Luna Park. Those concerts will be on April 4th and 5th.  The Daily Roxette, along with Run to Roxette, is hosting an “After School Party” at Dorsia Disco after the sold-out Monday night concert.

South Americans are known for singing along to songs when they attend concerts… and Roxette is sure to take notice of this as the tour continues to these other locations:

April 7 – Orfeo, Córdoba, Argentina
April 9 – Movistar Arena, Santiago, Chile
April 12 – Pepsi on Stage, Porto Alegre, Brazil
April 14 – Credicard Hall, São Paulo, Brazil
April 16 – Citibank Hall, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
April 17 – Chevrolet Hall, Belo Horizonte, Brazil
April 19 – Credicard Hall, São Paulo, Brazil

In Uruguay, Argentina and Chile (according to Roxette.se), fans who purchase an item from the Official Merchandise stand inside the venue will automatically be entered into a drawing to meet Per and Marie.
