Remembrance book for Marie Fredriksson
Dear fellow friends, dear fans of Marie Fredriksson, dear Roxette fans, dear kind people in this world,
our friend Marie has passed away on December 9, and many, many people in the world are heartbroken and would like to express their feelings. Not everyone can do so on the social media, not everyone can do so by coming to Sweden and signing the official remembrance book laid out in Stockholm.
We want to collect your thoughts, your grieve, but also your finest memories with Marie here. Please write down what you always wanted to say to her, we will collect each single entry of yours, put them into one single book and send it over to Marie’s family to show them how much she made this world better through you.

[All entries made before January 1, 2020 were taken over for the book. You will still be able to add your messages now but we cannot consider them for the book to Marie’s family anymore as it has been printed by now.]
The Daily Roxette had one copy of the book printed early January 2020 and handed it over to Marie Dimberg, Roxette’s manager and a very good friend of Marie Fredriksson and her family, in Göteborg on January 20, 2020. The printed version of the book is nearly 800 pages thick and it has a white cover. Its title “Tack för allt Marie” (Thank you for everything Marie) is written in silver and red letters on its sleeve.
Here you see some quick photos of the book, sadly there has never been a chance to take proper photos of this one copy as it arrived just before the evening we headed to Göteborg for the “En kväll för Marie Fredriksson” show.

The new single "Let your heart dance with me" is brilliant. I realy miss her everytime I hear a Roxette song, even now, almost 10 months after her death . I used to attend Roxette concerts in Belgium and they made me forget the world. A lot of respect for Per that he wants to keep the memory of Marie alive. By the way, Per, you are an amazing songwriter.
The Pearl.... Chance' is ... The Look. Ich kenn sie alle :^) Roxette war schon immer mein Leben, und irgendwie sehr present , durch meinen dad, bei mir zu Hause seit dem ich klein war. Heute bin ich groß & Ihr seit es immer noch ...., immer ... Wenn mir die Welt zu viel wird . Lege ich einen Roxette Music Tag ein , und besinne mich auf meine Wurzeln . Wer ich bin und wie ich sein möchte .und wo ich noch hin mag und wie.... Für mich brach die restliche Welt , die ich noch hatte , auch noch zusammen und riss mir den Boden unter den Füßen weg.
( Nachdem ich meinen dad vor 7 Jahren verlor, der sein Leben lang von Anfang an Roxette hörte, der echt alle CDs von Euch hatte ).... Nachdem ich das mit Marie am frühen Morgen hörte . Ich war bei Euren Konzerten und freute mich wie ein kleines Kind als ich Marie das erste Mal live vor mir sah , mit ihrer Lederjacke . So cool.... Für die Mann alles tuhn würde ....

I am still so sad at your passing. You magical voice and music was ‘ is the soundtrack to my life. I went to every Roxette concert tour you had in Perth. I remember on the joyride tour, I handed you a bunch of roses and you took them from me with a huge smile on your face, it is something I will always cherish and remember fondly. Thank you for sharing your gift, your talent and your love to us all. I’ll be forever your fan and miss hearing new music from you. R.I.P Marie

When I think about Marie and Per, I think about super heroes.. you literally rescued me in my most lonely and difficult years in my younger days.. the world around me was falling on me.. and right at the moment when I thought I couldn’t keep going.. there they were.. my Look Sharp and Joyride cassettes.. They will block everything around me and your voices became my oasis.. My escape.. and I knew that somehow everything was going to be Ok! Thank you for being a really important part in the soundtrack of my life. Though I have never met you, the connection I have through your music makes me feel love and gratitude to you both. My heart really hurt when I heard about Marie’s passing.. I never had the chance to see you perform live.. but I have sang clapped and sang along watching all your concerts on video. I have all your CDs and vinyls.. and of course.. my cassettes.. they are a treasure to me. Rest my sweet Marie and I hope the heavens will let you receive all the love we your fans have for you. From the first song that I heard from Roxette I was hooked. The group's vocals and just sheer happiness to make beautiful music made my teen years awesome. THANK YOU!!!!
U & Marie made the concert hall at both Sydney Australia and Adelaide South Australia rock and U with Marie glow. Sadly it has to be said that " it must have been love but it's over now." The ride just like a "joyride' and to that playing the drums for U guys in 97 was "almost unreal". But per listen to ur heart before you tell her goodbye".
