Our guess regarding the 'secret mission' of Roxette yesterday at the X-Level Studios is that probably they were recording a special live session as part of the 'X-Level Live' series, with the aim of producing a completely live studio recording without any post-recording fixings.
The first - known - recording of the series was done by 'Legends of Rock', a supergroup of the four singers Bobby Kimball (Toto), Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow), Bill Champlin (Chicago) and Steve Augeri (Journey) backed by a Swedish band. They played in front of 50 people who had headphones for the best live sound experience. Their session will be released on CD and DVD with interviews and behind the scenes content.
