Iron Maiden kicks “Mazarin” off #1

STOCKHOLM - After 11 weeks of being the solid #1 in Sweden, Per Gessle’s album “Mazarin” finally folds for Britain’s heavy metal band Iron Maiden. However, it only falls two spots, to #3. Maiden’s new album, “Dance of Death”, goes straight into #1 after two days’ sales. “We have very loyal fans in Sweden,” Iron Maiden says.

Summer is over now... but the master Gessle was undisputed king of the summer... congratulations!

I can’t understand how Lasse Stefanz can sell more albums than Gessle (ok, he’s been on the chart 8 more weeks, but still....)

Well, I like Gessle and Roxette, but Iron Maiden are Iron Maiden...

That’s OK...
11 weeks is long enough and it’s good to see the longevity of a band like Iron Maiden... even though I could not care less about them or their music.
