SYDNEY - Marie recently sent another message directly to the fans…
Dear Marie Davis and all my fans,
How can I thank you enough for your kind thoughts and wonderful care during my illness. I want you to know that I know that all your prayers have helped me a lot and given me a lot of strength. I’m feeling so much better every day. Slowly, I’m starting to write music again. Allthough the rest of this year will be a resting year, I’m sure I’ll see you all very soon again.
From the bottom of my heart, a sincere thanks to all of you.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The message was sent to Australian fan Marie Davis via Roxette’s manager Marie Dimberg as a thank you for the prayer chain she started when Marie got ill. Hundreds of people signed the chain to show support by praying or sending positive energy to Marie every day.

She is sucha sweetheart.... Praying for her is the least we can do! We do it in the chat every Friday, sending positive thoughts to Marie and her family. I believe that works. Warmth, support and love that’s what I send to Sweden every night.

First of all, I DON’T live in Sydney! (Why do people always assume every Australian person comes from Sydney?!) And as far as I know, this was Marie’s *only* message directly to the FANS. That Aftonbladet message was to Aftonbladet readers and didn’t really mention the fans! So I think it’s great that she wrote something for us and she made a lot of fans really happy!!
Huge thanks to all the people who supported the prayer chain (almost 500 people!), also to Tobi who did a lot of the work on the site, and of course Judith who did a lot of work with her messages to Marie!
