“Breathe” is title of other new song on “Ballad Hits”

STOCKHOLM - “Breathe” is the title of the other new song that – along with “A Thing About You” – will appear on Roxette´s upcoming compilation album, “The Ballad Hits.” The album is set to be released on November 4th.
In addition, a bonus EP containing four songs, three of them new, will be bundled together with the first edition (pressing) of
the album.

P&M are the best, and they now what they’re doing, and they would not dissapoint their fans!

Although the only news in this Metro article is the title “breathe”, their older predictions were not that wrong, except the release dates. Old TDR article:

STOCKHOLM - Roxette will release another ’Greatest Hits’ album in June... or maybe even two. “We don’t know yet,” said Li Eriksson at EMI. As an enticement, the album will include two or three new songs along with the big hits.
The thought is to precede the album(s) release with a single in May. Per thinks this it’s going to be a hit.
“I feel it in my gut when I’m working with a song if it’s going to be a hit or not. But the most important thing is that it’s fun to work,” he said.

Sascha keeping up w/ the articles–that’s great! I was trying to remember that article actually a while back. I remembered Per mentioning that remark “in my gut.....”(about the “hit” he was talking about.) Anyway, “Breathe” sounds like a good title for a ballad. Of course Marie will be singing this one–this is the “typical” part of Roxette–they take turns to make it fair for one another. I’m more into the uptempo songs but I won’t complain about any new Roxette material–either way I’ll buy it. I’m a true fan of theirs and if I have to buy a cd that has the same songs but a couple of new ones on it I’m buying it!!! I’ll just add it to my collection(which is not very big–yet) I think “Breathe” will kind of be an erie sounding ballad. Maybe almost like an Enya song but with vocals(I mean words!!) Great news no matter what. peace.

@rockstar: I like both uptempo songs and the ballads. We are gona have a wonderfull time with two compilations. One with Ballads the others with Sleeping in My Car kinda uptemo songs.

You know the best thing for Roxette to do(if EMI would permit it and pay for it) would be to come out w/ a box set of like 4-6 cd’s w/ all their music ever made under the Roxette name. It seems a lot of past rock bands are doing this for their fans. Some of you fans have listed some songs I’ve never heard of–for example, Blue Umbrella? Is this a Roxette song or Crazy For You? If I’m wrong please correct me. @Lars- will this new ballad “A Thing About You” be distributed to American radio or a promotional cd like WICF? Please let me know–thanks in advance. peace
P.S. Is there any way of getting some of their b-side, demo’s and so on still?

According to a newest Metro article(12.08.)
Per wants to record a new soloalbum on swedish soon. And he has written a few songs for swedish and internationel singers and bands.
Roxette would like to go to a summer Greatest Hits tour at least in Sweden but maybe in other countries too.
I hope it‘s true but I an not sure.
We shall see.

I can’t wait to buy it. I wonder who will sing it. I guess it will be Marie song this time since Mr. Gessle is already singing A THING ABOUT YOU. I would LOVE to have something like Almost Unreal where Per and Marie sing togther.
