Ett bord i solen - Marie’s second exhibition

STOCKHOLM - 
Marie Fredriksson opened her second exhibition today - Ett bord i solen - at the same gallery as last time. The gallery formerly known as Dr Glas is now called So Stockholm and is located at Kungsträdgården in Stockholm. The exhibition will be open until February 17 and the gallery is open Monday thru Friday 11:00-17:30 and Saturday, Sunday 13:00-16:00.
Like last time there's a limited edition book (300 copies) sold exclusively at the gallery. The book contains six pictures of Marie and some text plus pictures of 37 pieces of art.
The vernissage was held yesterday, February 7 and the invitation was a very limited CD single with the song "Ett bord i solen." Many of the pieces were sold yesterday. Prices range, according to The Daily Roxette's source, from 20,000 kronor to more than 40,000 kronor. (Roughly 2000€ to 4000€.) This art is described as very similar to last time, only with the addition of colors.
Marie will appear on TV4's Nyhetsmorgon tomorrow morning at approximately 9:30.

Great! I like this pic, it looks so friendly and happy. I really hope that’s how Marie feels now.
It’s a bit of surprise for me, I haven’t known before she does an art exhibition that early this year. But in the end it doesn’t matter as it’s to far away for just having a look at some pictures. What a pity I can’t apparate like they use to do in JKR’s wizarding world.

Good news,I’m happy to hear something new about Marie,as I saw this pictures are not masterpieces,better is to hear her singing,even speaking (i adore her voice) but anyway pictures are painted by Marie. I wish I could get there and saw her exhibition,to know more better, deeply her paintings to notice what she wants to say by them. what she feels when creating them. I hope not sweden fans would have a chance to see Marie on tv.

It’s great that marie is keeping herself busy creatively, and i hope the exhibition goes well for her. As for the paintings, I’m actually moving into a new flat in a couple of weeks and would love to buy one for my new pad but I doubt i could afford those prices :(
Would also love a couple of the book and CD, but since I never managed to get a copy of the last book, I doubt I’ll be able to get this one either.

Just saw the video at www.tv4.se/nyhetsmorgon and... Marie does not only look lovely, she appears totally great in motion, all her facial and gestical expressions (which were still a bit abcent in ’06) are back to full scale! :-D

The quality isn’t perfect, but Windows Movie Maker didn’t allow me to do it in the better quality. I hope someone will do it better than me then you would be able to enjoy it in better size :) If you have done it, share it with us :)
TV4 interview is one of the most beautiful and exciting things that I have ever seen since “Andra chans” programme. It’s really worth watching and... enojoying with every second when Marie speaks. ’Cos she does! :)

yeah she looks really happy and pretty and younger.she’s fascinated with her paintings,and it seem to me that she’s drawing herself in pictures,something maybe piece of her is in them,but unfortunatelly i can’t understand even one word just staring at her,I missed her so much these long times.thanks for link.

I just watched the interview on tv4´s homepage. Great to see and hear Marie again, especially when she´s doing so fine. Anyway, I was a bit shocked when she said that she´s blind on her right eye. I haven´t heard about that before!? :(
The good news are that she´s positiv to do Roxettestuff together with Per again. She was very convincing talking about that. So we´ll wait and see... :-)
