Hey, I searched last time at wikipedia and found this little information:

this is totally bullshit, isn’t it? There is nothing announced that they are releasing a new CD next year or are in the studio. Even on the Roxette page you can find a hint in the discography section:

I have no comment either way. I’m not holding my breathe, but I’m not saying it’s not gonna happen. Feb 08 does seem VERY close though!!! A bit too close for a Rox album, unless there has been secret work being done on it?
The pages have already been changed though, so I’m guessing someone has gone in their and edited them. Shows something!!

This is being treated as a rare misprint and is only available from a small shed in the Northern Territory of Australia, you must visit in person to get a copy.

On the German Wiki Roxette page there was (might still be there) a thing saying that Rarities 2 would be out this year. And if you hunted around, you found a torrent that said ’Rarities 2’... :-S

Not bad, at last a rare release in this country. I’ll drive there and get a copy for me and a copy for ebay.

Scroll up and you will see that this is referring to release schedules in early 2007. The entry for Roxette clearly says Spring 2007 which would have been the GH release or RoxBox released earlier this year.
I don’t think there is a chance in hell we’d see anything from Roxette in Feb. 2008. Not very optimistic am I?

Er, no. I don’t. They owe us nothing. And before any of you leap back with that ’oh, but we’ve been paying their wages for however many years, we must have some say’, that means very little. They are not faceless, brainless drones you can command to produce an album because you bought a few of however many albums or singles. We’re fans, not shareholders.
And to be frank, even if they turned out a new album tomorrow, certain people would complain that it either
1) Doesn’t sound like Joyride
1b) Doesn’t sound like CBB
2) It’s not the ’old guard’ any more.
3) Will post 3rd one when I remember this one ;-)
