More countries sign up for the upcoming Roxette releases

Holland, Switzerland, Poland and Spain have all decided to release the new Roxette material – the “Hits” CDs and the Rox Box. Some countries will release a physical single, some will stay with a digital-only release.
The Daily Roxette has also learned that the limited edition CD/DVD will not be in the digipak format, but rather the super jewel box format. The super jewel box is the one normally found on SACDs (Super Audio CD) and it has thicker plastic with rounded corners.
“A stronger, more durable replacement for the traditional ’jewel box’ CD case,” according to the makers.

All the big spanish radio stations a reporting about roxette’s comeback and playing their music all the time. I haven’t heard One wish yet but Sleeping in my car, listen yo your heart and the look are being airplayed again and again.
It’s great to listen roxette’s music everywhere!!.

Great! Hope the next step will be not only in packing (jewel boxes.. ) but also include tracks (songs/videos...) remastered in 5.1 or dts... that will be an intelligent way of offering old tracks in a brand new version (no one has roxette songs in multichannel cause both dvd’s are DD stereo..) Perhaps in the next GH (be sure there will be more hahaha LOL)

UK still has no release date for Rox Box as far as i could tell. However orded it from Sweden.
Personally not a big fan of super jewel cases. many recent albums have been released with this case. Unfortunatelly it is very dificult to remove the booklet.

For all canadians waiting for a domestic release of the Roxbox, here’s some info I got from EMI Canada:
“This was slated to be released in Canada on Oct 24th through EMI Special Imports,
but unfortunately EMI Sweden as decided not to release the NTSC version.
I don’t know if this applies to the European PAL version?
just a side note we now have Per Gessle “Son Of A Plummer ” available in Canada through Special Imports.”

This is also a bad news for the brazilian fans, cos we use the NTSC system here... If Canada would release the box, in this format, we would have more chances of seeing the box here.
Maybe EMI Brazil will release it here only when it´ll be released in the States.. if it will really happen...

If EMI Sweden decided not to release a NTSC version of the Roxbox I think it goes for all the divisions. After all, EMI Sweden calls the shots when it comes to Rox, doesn’t it?
And at this point is unknown who’s releasing the GH in the US, but I doubt they’re interested in releasing the Roxbox.

Portugal is another country adding to the list. :) Though, this time around, and according to the info I received last from EMI Portugal, we’ll be getting the Greatest Hits album only (in both the standard and deluxe editions) but sadly not the single and neither (at least not at this moment) the RoxBox. :/ Release date for the album in Portugal, October 18.

Mmmmm.... I hate that stupid jewel box, first because it has a lot of plastic and the back insert is highly affected by cutting it, second because the spine is vert small and looks stupid with other standard jewel cases but most of all because to take the disc out you need a lot of patience if you don’t want to break it as it gets stuck in there!
It took me, and I’m not joking, 20 minutes to take t.A.T.u. best cd out of the case!!!!
About the Polish issue if it’s that cheap I suggest fan.pl to everybody. I have ordered a few things already from there and they are reliable (and I don’t live in Poland).
