“One Wish” premiered on German radio already today

FRANKFURT - The new Roxette single “One Wish” already got played in Germany’s radio stations today – unexpectedly early as the Swedish premiere was announced for next Monday.
The song was played on SWR1 and SWR3, two of the most important stations in the south of Germany. Both stations do not list the song in their list of played songs however, perhaps because it is being played from CD and not from the electronic archive.
The song was also played for the first time today on Bayern3, a station in Bavaria.

Some minutes ago I got a mail from a friend. She told me she heared the new Roxette single at Bayern3 (big radio station here in Bavaria/Germany) today.

The OW premiere on SWR3 was today at 14:22 CET, which means ~4 hours earlier than on SWR1.

swr is a very rox-friendly station. rox have got a very big fanbase in southern germany. swr plays rox songs around the clock. for me not surprising that they play already on.

It sounds like a ´forgotten´ song from HAND. Crazy melody, very electronic, really uptempo, many “hey hey - one day...” Surely not the best Roxette song, but also not the worst :-) I like it !!! Praise the Lord - Roxette are really back !!!!!!!

*I know they stopped playing rox in 2000. But maybe they change their mind with the new tune...

I’m really surprised SWR1 played OW! I didn’t think they would since it’s not necessarily the type of music they usually play.
(SWR1’s target audience are people between 30 and 55. Their sister station SWR3, on the other hand, caters primarily to the 19 - 39 year olds.)

Does anybody know when it’ll be aired in Spain? I haven’t been able to listen to SOAP at los 40principales (one of the most, if not the most, important radio station in Spain) though other radio stations played “Hey Mr. DJ” from time to time.
Hope it’ll be different with OW and the hits album. When they released TBH and TPH they didn’t chart very high :(

So great! Yesterday I could listen listen for the first time to OW on SWR3! Not weeks before on the internet, fed up with 30s snippets. No, the whole song by chance on the radio, this happened for the last time for me when WICF came out!
And the best thing: They introduced the song like in the good old times, when Roxette where huge here in Germany. They told the complete story about the RoxBox-thing, mentioned their biggest hits and their solo-projects. So damn cool! We really can be happy to here Marie’s strong voice again, singing us a nice Hey, hey, hey...
