New from the Per Gessle Selection
On December 1 three new wines in The Per Gessle Selection were made available to the public; The Pleaser (308 SEK – 32€,) The Convincer (325 SEK – 38€) and The Improver (599 SEK – 63€.)
Champagne Cuvée The Pleaser
Pinot Noir 60 %, Chardonnay 40 %
Use this wine as an aperitif or together with a delicate fish or shellfish course, such as broiled scallops Saint-Jacques with Jerusalem artichoke puree or codfish with melted butter sauce.
Champagne Cuvée The Convincer rosé
Chardonnay 50 %, Pinot Noir 50 %
Use this as an aperitif or together with a lobster, crayfish au gratin, foi gras toast or why not with a Carpaccio?
The Pleaser and The Convincer have been developed together with the Charles Ellner Champagne house in Epernay, in the heart of Champagne.
Champagne Cuvée The Improver
Blanc de Blancs = 100 % Chardonnay
The Improver is an exclusive cuvée developed together with the majestic Champagne house Pierre Peters from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in Côtes du Blancs and consist from 15 different vintages hailing back to 1988, of course only from the very best vintages. There are only a few hundred bottles made.
You should drink this wine as an aperitif or together with a delicate fish or shellfish course.
No, the wines are unfortunately not available outside of Sweden at this point, and no, Systembolaget do not export wine.
