KappAhl partners with Roxette
Fashion today is about style and personality, about your look. The Look. Inspiration and trends can be found in many places.
Music for example being one of the great ones – so what could be more suitable than doing a remake of one of the music industry’s most iconic and popular hits “The Look” by Roxette?
In an exclusive collaboration with KappAhl, Roxette got back into X-Level Studios in Stockholm (the same studio where they recorded the original “The Look” in 1988) and made a new version of this historical hit. The remake will be released in July.
“Making a new version of ‘The Look’ was compelling, but was also a great challenge. It’s extra fun working uniquely with KappAhl which is a Swedish company we both respect and like. Pop music and fashion walking hand in hand. It’s about expressions and feelings, to dare and to care,” says Per Gessle.
“The Look” will include five campaigns which will be released during the fall of 2015. The campaigns have different angles and are called ”The Chic Denim Look”, ”The Always Black Look”, ”The Must-have Look”, ”The Wellbeing Look” and ”The Hot Look”.
The first collection in the campaign, ”The Chic Denim Look,” will be in stores August 24. The official hashtag of the campaign is #thelookkappahl

The fully re-recorded version of “The Look” will be released physically, at least on a 7″ single August 26. It will be available on Spotify July 17.
