“Halmstads Pärlor” four times platinum in Sweden!
Gyllene Tider's compilation "Halmstads Pärlor", released in 1995, has sold four times platinum in Sweden. Marie's "I en tid som vår" has sold platinum. Per Gessle's album "The World According To Gessle" and single "Do You Wanna Be My Baby?" have both reached gold in Sweden. The statistics are from last year.
Thomas Evensson of Elektroniska Tider tells:
- Gold in Sweden is 40000 for albums and 90000 for platinum. I forget what singles are, but I think gold is 25000 and supposedly platinum 40000. They changed it last year because I guess not too many artists got any awards! Ha ha ha!
