Roxette to play London

Another date has been added to the tour on the Livenation.es website: London, November 15th, 2011. Roxette will play the Wembley Arena!

Tickets for Wembley, which are £35, go on general sale on April 1st at 9am (London time). People who have O2 as their mobile network provider (and who pre-register to get an SMS code) can access a pre-sale that begins March 30th (also at 9am). Live Nation is also offering a pre-sale beginning March 31st at 9am again to people registered with a Live Nation account!

Tickets in the UK can be bought via both Live Nation or Ticketmaster UK. It is believed that all tickets will be for reserved seating.

Roxette have played Wembley Arena before. In fact, November will mark 17 years since they played there during the Crash! Boom! Bang! tour. While the Room Service tour didn’t make it to the UK, Roxette did some promotional work in London in 1999 for the release of Have a Nice Day.

UPDATE:

We have just been informed that tickets are going extremely well for the London concert.  There is only limited availability left (Upper Tier), and tickets don’t go to ‘normal’ sale until tomorrow.  It does seem the UK will be welcoming Roxette back with open arms!

2nd UPDATE:

Roxette is currently No 7 on the Top Selling Concerts List for the UK, according to Ticketmaster.  Good news indeed and this shows that there is interest in Roxette’s visit to the UK
