"Travelling" is charting
Roxette's brand new album Travelling, released digitally yesterday, is already charting on the iTunes album charts:

Finland #6
Germany #9
Roxette back on the charts in the U.S.
After an absence of a little over 10 years, Roxette is back on the charts in the United States. "Radio" debuts on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart at #30 today! Per comments on Facebook and Twitter: "Great to be back in the charts in the U.S.!!!"
Gary Trust, in the magazine's "Chart Beat" column, wrote:
ROX ON: Venerable Swedish pop duo Roxette makes its first appearance on Adult Contemporary since the No. 27-peaking "Wish I Could Fly" in 2000, as "She's Got Nothing On (But the Radio)" tunes in at No. 30.
The song appears on the pair's first album since 2001, Charm School. Released digitally in the U.S. in February, the set arrived at No. 1 on the German Albums chart in March. Roxette had last led a Billboard chart 10 years earlier, when Room Service topped the Sweden Albums list.
Roxette has now placed titles on the AC survey in the '80s, '90s, '00s and '10s, becoming the only duo to do so.
The twosome twice rose as high as No. 2 on AC, with first chart entry "Listen to Your Heart" in 1989 and "Pretty Woman" love ballad "It Must Have Been Love" in 1990.
Radio climbs to #5... on the radio (radio)
Bolstered by their current world tour, Roxette's single "She's Got Nothing On (But the Radio)" continues to be a major hit – on the radio. The single has climbed yet another notch this past week and currently holds the #5 position on Radio Express's Top 40 world radio chart. Three weeks ago it was at #9, two weeks ago at #6 and last week at #7. Jennifer Lopez (feat. Pitbull) still has the #1 spot with "On The Floor." "She's Got Nothing On (But the Radio)" has spent 12 weeks on the chart so far.
Every week, Radio Express compiles the World Chart by tabulating the most listened-to pop songs in the world, based on the playlists of hundreds of top radio stations worldwide. This chart is then used as the basis for a syndicated radio show – hosted by Lara Scott and originating from Los Angeles, California – that is distributed via one of the most extensive "network" of radio stations in the world.
Opening act for South Africa chosen
Jacaranda 94.2, 94.5 KFM and M-Net are excited to announce that Roxette will be supported by one of South Africa’s top acts - The Wedding DJ’s - on the South African leg of their World Tour in May 2011.
The Wedding DJ’s have performed at anything from club nights to bar mitzvahs, from festivals to weddings. It is definitely not a jaw dropper why The Wedding DJ’s are the supporting act for Roxette. Their choice of material and mixes of '80s and '90s music is intensely tasteful and nostalgic. There is no doubt that Roxette is a crucial influence to the boys’ love for the decks and getting the masses moving and singing along.
Also, Charm School and All Videos Ever Made are on Top12 this week.
Good news from Germany: Gold award and tour sales
Ticket sales for Roxette's fall leg of the world tour are selling well in Germany. According to the music business magazine Musikmarkt.de , Roxette is #3 on the German ticket charts. This list is based on sales figures by the biggest local ticket vendor, eventim.de, and its partners. The first two positions are being held by German-speaking artists, so Roxette is basically the best selling international artist at the moment.
Furthermore, as the Association of the German Music Industry (Bundesverband Musikindustrie) revealed on their website, Roxette's Hits album has sold more than 100,000 copies and has therefore been certified gold.
