This powerful ballad was written by Lasse Lindbom, a big name in Swedish pop business and an important patron for both Marie's and Per's careers. Lasse, Marie, Per and Mats MP Persson formed the band Exciting Cheeses and performed their songs live, and that was just shortly before Rolf Nygren of EMI had an idea that lead to the recording of the song "Neverending Love" for a project called "Roxette".
