#PerGessle was interviewed by Värmlands Folkblad before his Arvika show tonite! In the interview Per says that both the rehearsals and the concerts so far were exciting and an unexpected journey. Especially Gyllene Tider's songs are difficult for "professional musicians" to play. Several times during the rehearsals he had to stop and take a laugh break because everything sounded like a GT cover band on steroids. The GT sound is so tight and extremely complex in all its simplicity. Roxette songs were easier to get into. They are more sophisticated compositions and allow more sound colors. Bengans Skivbutik first posted the coloured vinyl is yellow (and they still state this colour on the website), but in their Facebook post they corrected it. The vinyl is going to be green! We still don't know what happened to the English song, the 3rd duet (with Jessica Sweetman) from the album, but the tracklist doesn't contain it. Let's see what happens! BORGHOLM, ÖLAND! Oh yea, classic ground. This is the castle where we recorded the Listen To Your Heart-video back in 89. Still magnificent and a joy to visit. And boy, did we have a fab time. Wonderful crowd + a splendid band on the loose = lots of unexpected silliness around every corner. Love that. Thanx everyone for showing up. One to remember! /P.
