New #PerGessle interview in Badische Zeitung. Practice your German or read the English summary below! ;) /PP Click here for the interview: http://www.badische-zeitung.de/emmendingen/musik-fuer-viele-lebenslagen--120555890.html The reporter asks Per what the writer of Milk and Toast and Honey eats for breakfast. Per replies Marie is the big eater in the band and she is the ”fried eggs for breakfast” type of person, but Mr. G is more into cereals, muesli with fruit. And above all, a lot of coffee. They talk about how versatile Roxette’s music is, so it may be useful for different situations. Their songs are just as good for sorrow as for falling in love. Some songs are tailor-made for air guitar, others for relaxing and / or getting sober. The reporter asks if music helped Marie during her illness. Per says it helped, but what helped her more was the love from all the fans around the world. They talk about Roxette songs which became soundtrack and also about Small Apartments. Mr. G mentions the tour ends in September and after that all depends on Marie, how she is doing. Per is there when he has to be there. The reporter asks Per whether he prefers huge arenas or smaller venues. Mr. G says he likes both for different reasons. He also mentions that the audience plays a major role at the Rox shows. They love their crowds, because they are very active. It turns out that playing at an open air venue or inside a place makes a difference only if it rains. Otherwise there is not much difference to them on stage. Per tells Badische Zeitung that after the show in Emmendingen (23rd July) they can’t stay for sightseeing in the Black Forest, because they have to leave, but they look forward to eat Black Forest cake which they try to taste sometime between the soundcheck and the show. Thanx for finding the interview, Ivan Kelava!
