Anton Corbijn at the Rox Show: Let the rumors begin!

BELGIUM – Speculation has already hit Roxette’s social media pages following an image that Per Gessle posted of internationally acclaimed photographer and director Anton Corbijn at last night’s Roxette show in Antwerp.

On the 23rd of May 2015, in an exclusive interview with The Daily Roxette, Per confirmed that the band would be shooting a music video for the upcoming new single… and now an image of Anton Corbijn at the Antwerp show surfaces online.

Of course we could all be reading way too much into this, but in the Roxette world, it’s hard to resist speculating – as we all know, quite often, one and one makes three.

Although more recognized for his collaborations with Depeche Mode and U2, Anton is no stranger to the Roxette world having directed the “Stars” and “Salvation” music videos back in 1999 – and not to mention his collaboration with Per on his solo Mazarin and En Händig Man projects.

Will we see a Roxette/Corbijn collaboration once again for the upcoming elusive single? Time will tell.

In the meantime, check out the music video to Have A Nice Day’s “Salvation” from 1999. This one certainly got fans talking back in the day!
