STOCKHOLM – Gig 13 out of 19 of the very, very successful Dags att tänka på refrängen – Live 2013 tour. The first gig Gyllene performs indoors in 24 years… Good or bad? Well, the show is pure awesomeness, it needs not to be described any further. However, it doesn’t really change, no matter what Per thinks. Yes they add a song and they remove another, but that’s just details in the whole scheme. Is that a bad thing though? No. Not at all. Again, they chose not to perform one of their bigger songs, “Demon Emptiness” one of Anders’ true favorite songs, but the audienced didn’t seem to care. What the audience got was a hit explosion so big that they were literally bouncing off their feet. The Stockholm crowd is picky, and they loved this show. When Gyllene kicked “Ljudet av ett annat hjärta” in gear, the arena just lost it. “Let’s flip Stockholm over!” Per said. I have to say that everyone was with Per and the boys from the start, even though the audience seemed kind of cold hearing “Det blir aldrig som man tänkt sej.” But after that there was no stopping. Hit after hit after hit, well you know what I mean…

The biggest songs, if I must pick, were “Ljudet av ett annat hjärta,” “Leva livet,” “Flickorna på TV2” and of course “Sommartider!” But that doesn’t mean there were any really weak songs in the set. I can always survive without “Billy” and also “Marie i växeln” but from there to say they suck is a long way. When Micke started the famous intro of “Sommartider” 23,082 people were instantly on their feet. All in all I have to say the concert was amazing. When I talked to the band afterwards they said they liked the gig, but it didn’t compare to Ullevi. The only really negative thing with the arena is that they kept the roof on, which possibly made the sound bounce around like it did. The sound was less than satisfying, and many complaints have been raised. There have been numerous reasons why the roof wasn’t removed, but in the end it wasn’t, so there’s nothing to say.

I must add that “Dags att tänka på refrängen” – the new single – did not receive the biggest cheers, but it was performed with such intensity it was nerve wrecking.

Six gigs left. And on Aftonbladet TV (featuring a certain TDR photographer in white…) Per opened up for another tour. “Just not maybe this year…”
