Roxette “Hits!” finally cracks Aussie Top 40
SYDNEY – Buoyed by the phenomenal success of their current tour Down Under, Roxette’s 2006 Compilation Roxette Hits! – Their 20 Greatest Songs has finally cracked the ARIA Top 40 Album Charts some 5 years after its initial release, peaking at #39.
Often seen hovering at the lower end of the Top 100, the album has finally cracked the prestigious Top 40. Roxette’s last charting album on the Australian Charts was Charm School back in February 2011 where it reached #49. The last Roxette compilation that featured in the Aussie album charts was Don’t Bore Us Get to the Chorus peaking at #10 in 1996, ironically, also reaching its peak well past its initial release date which was November 1995.
Roxette Hits! is also at #10 on the Australian iTunes charts.
The Australian comeback continues, stay tuned to TDR for further updates!
