Roxette plays Bospop Festival

Roxette at Bospop
Saturday July 9 was a cloudy day in The Netherlands, but that all changed when Roxette came on stage at the Bospop festival in Weert…

A large crowd had gathered in front of the main stage of the festival with groups of clearly recognizable Roxette fans pressed against the front fences and the press corridor up front filled up with photographers – people were waiting for Roxette.
The moment Per and Marie came on stage the clouds parted and the sun illuminated their faces – clearly the famed ‘Gyllene Tider effect’ also seems to work for Roxette when they play outdoor festivals!
Though this show was a bit shorter than we had seen so far on this tour, the band seemd to be on top of their game more than ever. Marie showed a powerful performance, she was clearly enjoying singing outside on this unexpectedly sunny summer evening. Per, Chris and Magnus were rocking their guitars as we remember from the Party Crasher tour, with Chris going absolutely crazy on the solos.
All in all, it was a fantastic night for both the audience and the band!
Note: The Daily Roxette also sat down with Per for an exclusive interview – stay tuned for the video!
