The show in Yekaterinburg has just finished!

The organizers managed to do something that did not work in Kazan and Samara – they achieved a good sound in the arena, organized a decent dancefloor (in front of seating rows, opposite to Kazan and Samara where it was located behind the seats) and invited a cool warm-up group.

I’ll start from the beginning. A warm-up team from Perm was invited, apparently they specialize in folk music: balalaika, accordion, and something similar to a balalaika, but half the size of a double bass. Plus a drum kit. The group did not play anything folklore, but began playing instrumental versions of big hits. First ABBA, then Metallica, Deep Purple, Queen, and finally they did Roxette hits! It was great. Never saw such a popular warm-up event in my life!
 
The venue was sold out completely. All seats sold, at a price of 200 EUR! Even the extreme lateral sector, which looks at the stage laterally through the lighting equipment was sold out. The dancefloor was packed to the eyeballs! From the very first song people from seating rows started to dance.

Roxette was in very good shape! The sound was set up amazingly! The set list was similar to Samara. Missed “Opportunity Nox”… but it was still played after “It Must Have Been Love”. Unfortunately this reporter missed the songs “Silver Blue” and “Watercolours in the Rain”.

During the band presentation, Christopher played “Kalinka Malinka” again. Then they pulled to the stage some guy, who is in charge of their guitars and congratulated him on his birthday.
 
The first song after the first pause was “Way Out”! Standard set list after that. After the second pause, Marie forgot the words to “Listen to Your Heart”, so the crowd sang the verse for her.

After the song “Church of Your Heart” the lights came on and the background music started… Roxette is all gone.
