★ The Daily Roxette Archives
Aah springtime!!! In april 1995 Clarence, Anders and myself recorded a demo called "Liberty" for the upcoming Belinda Carlisle album. I got a request from EMI UK to write and produce a couple of songs for her. "Liberty" was my first shot. She didn't like it. She wanted something more guitar-oriented so I offered her this thrilling piece called "Always breaking my heart" instead. She loved that. Listening to "Liberty" now I find it kinda groovy and a somewhat interesting programming from C&A and you know me....I've always been a sucker for some french poetry.... Have a great xmas wherever you are. See y'all next year. P. Download Liberty (Demo 23 April 1995) "Liberty" lyrics.
