Ten year anniversary for “Joyride” album’s chart success
NEW YORK - Somewhat ironically, the talk of a possible return by Roxette to the American music scene comes almost exactly ten years after the group scored with its highest-ranking US album - "Joyride." The album peaked on Billboard’s Album chart at #12 on May 4, 1991 while the "Joyride" single hit #1 during this same month.
Now, a decade later, Roxette's name can still be found in the current issue of the magazine, on the Euro (#3) and Scandinavian charts.
