Marie Fredriksson 40!

MarieFredriksson40!

Gun-Marie Fredriksson was born in a little village of Össjö in southern Sweden on May 30, 1958. She was the youngest of Inez and Gösta Fredriksson's five children. When Marie was four, the family moved to Östra Ljungby. Every once in a while people get mixed up with the two villages and tell that Marie would have been born in Östra Ljungby, but that's not true.
Even as a little child Marie was interested in music. The musical talent came in the family; her father was a real genius in music. Her first single was made with a band called Strul in 1981. Later she was in a group called MaMas Barn which released even an own LP. After those more-or-less flops she started her solo career. She soon reached the top of the charts. So far Marie has released five solo albums.
Marie is married to Mikael ”Micke” Bolyos. He's a musician and also very talented: he plays almost all instruments on Marie's latest solo album ”I en tid som vår”. Marie and Micke have two children, Inez Josefin (born on April 29, 1993) and Oscar Mikael (November 28, 1996). Marie has once said that she wants five children.
