In an article published May 16 on a Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet Per Gessle and the manager of EMI Svenska Rolf Nygren tell they're going to get rid of Internet's "pirates" who have put copyrighted material on their homepages. Copyrighted material consists of many kinds of stuff, not only pictures and sound but also the song lyrics.
Earlier this month the Britpop act Oasis said they'll sue everyone who doesn't remove unofficial Oasis material from their homepages in 30 days. Oasis fans on the Internet have gathered a group called Oasis webmasters for internet freedom against these plans.
